I think it's time we had our first official meet across the ditch! Of course, this has nothing to do with me going there very shortly ;)

Anyone interested, and able to meet in Rotorua sometime from the 14th to the 20th December?
Otherwise, if anyone's around Palmy North around xmas let's know :)

Not expecting any takers, but you never know!

Damn ... just booked travel tonight to NZ ... fly to Tauranga on New Years eve and fly home from Chch on the 18th of Jan. I'm just hopng now that I have the D200 to take away with me!

We'll be headed from Rotorua back to Palmerston North on the Thursday (I think) before Christmas, and then down to Wellington on the following Wednesday to do Te Papa and a few other things b4 flying home Thursday.
Speedway in Palmy on Tuesday night after Christmas should be good.
Let's know where 'near Wellington' means, might be able to make this one work ;)

Hi Sheepie

I cross to the North Island on Fri Dec 16. Fly out of Wellington Thur Dec 22nd. Staying with friends at Paraparaumu during this time.

Prior to this I'll be in the South Island: Christchurch, Lewis Pass (tramp), Golden Bay (sea kayak), Mt Arthur (Tramp)....

I'll be in Auckland from the 15th thru til Christmas. Not sure if i'll be able to borrow a car to get down to Rotorua. Maybe if I organise to take the family to the hot pools for a couple of days i'll be able to wangle it.
