Military Photography opportunity

Postby Matt. K on Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:53 am

The School of Military Engineering is having a parade (Beating of the Retreat) on Saturday 1st July at Holsworthy. It starts at about 4pm and goes on until dark. There will be marching, a band and maybe some canon fire. This will be followed by fireworks. There is an opportunity for 2 or 3 members to photograph this event (difficult light. Need tripods) in return for providing the School with a CD of the pics for their own use. (I am not expecting professional quality imagery).
If anyone is interested please PM me and I'll provide further details. I will not be attending at this stage.

This could be of interest ... I'll wait till Jnr wakes, and see if he has any interest.

I've got the Canon for the weekend. I'm interested if Dad's going.

You will probably get arrested or shot if you take your own ”Canon”

I'll have both with me. I'll be convicted of patriotism and treason and each will nullify the other.

They won't bother you if you use your canon....but if you wear your freak hat then don't count on getting out of there alive.
