Melbourne Zombie Walk this weekend

Postby kitchenwench on Wed May 06, 2009 9:51 pm

Hey guys,

I can't shoot this myself as I'm doing a gig shoot that night and need to spend the day prepping for mother's day, but in case anyone is looking for something to shoot on Saturday, the Melbourne Zombie Shuffle is on this Saturday:

What: Melbourne Zombie Shuffle 2009
Where: Starts at the Carlton Gardens, Cnr of Rathdowne St and Victoria St, Carlton.
When: Sat May 9, 1-4pm
Description:
The horrific horde of flesh eaters that annually culminate in the CBD in search of BRAAAAIIINNS will depart the Carlton Gardens and head down this path: La Trobe St, Swanston St, Southbank, Crown Casino. (Not sure how many brains they will actually find at Crown Casino, but whatevs). Once this war path has been tramped, Roxanne flings open its doors to host The Official Zombie Shuffle After Party (from 5pm) for all those monstrous freaks who feel the urge to continue wreaking havoc upon the night.

If that doesn't strike your fancy, then there's a Vegetarian Food Fest at Fed Square:

Vegi-licious: The Karma of Being Vegetarian

DATES: Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 May
TIMES: 12pm-5pm
WHERE: Buddha’s Day Miele Australia Kitchen
ADDRESS: River Terrace, Federation Square
DETAILS: As part of the 14th annual Buddha’s Day and Multicultural Festival, Buddha’s Light International Association of Victoria is proud announce the return of the popular Vegi-licious: The Karma of Being Vegetarian, vegetarian cooking demonstrations with chefs and cooks from some of Melbourne’s finest establishments and renowned vegetarian eateries.

I'm a bit sore that I won't be able to make either, but hopefully this info will come in handy for someone else :)

Hehehe, what can I say? Short attention span means I need a variety of interests to keep me from being bored ;-)
