EOI - Autumn Winery meet

Postby PiroStitch on Tue Mar 14, 2006 4:06 pm

Just something a bit different, how about a winery meet? So far the meets I've tried to organise tend to be around the city, so I thought of expanding my horizons and trying to organise a winery meet :D

It'll have to be on a weekend as I know most, if not all, work during the weekdays.

I was thinking of Redbox Winery (http://redboxvineyard.com.au/) as I do have a contact there, so organising stuff might be easier.

Let me know.

Cheers,

Wayne

I missed this post the first time. I'd be happy to go. I was just about to bump the zoo thread to see if we can actually get a meet happening in Melbourne.

It seems like the Sydneysiders have all the fun. It's still not worth moving there.

Geez it's a small world! My friends used to live there!!

I'm interested wayne, but will be busy for some part of April. I've been waiting for the onset of Autumn to photograph the turning grape vines!

What dates do you have in mind?

Small world indeed Jane! My friend lives there now...well it's her father's winery :)

I was thinking sometime in Autumn, maybe Apr or start of May? Just asking for Expressions of interest. If the uptake isn't that great, I might change it to a mini or micro meet instead :)

Wayne, I am a distinct possible too. Have wedding anniversary and Rosanne's birthday in may, could impact on some potential dates, but interested subject to availability.
