Global Batteries

Postby BBJ on Tue Dec 14, 2004 3:56 pm

The boss is feelling generous, said she would get me a spare battery for camera not that i would need it yet but always handy to have i guess, checked a local battery shop here and could get for $55 anyhow came accros this site and for $22.06.

Anyone had any dealings with them? As i might order from there.

Cheapest price on Ebay (in Australia) is $13.50 +$9.50 S&H so the price seems reasonable. I'm not sure if I remember reading in this forum somewhere that those cheap batteries are cheap and nasty. I'll have to try a search.

For $22 even if it isn't as good as the OEM battery, it's cheaper than using the spare battery pod with 3 x CR2 batteries. I was at Vanbar today buying a tripod and noticed the CR2's on the wall, they wanted $34 odd for a set of three (and they aren't rechargeable)... BTW, love my new tripod
