Great stuff Birdy.

I’m thinking of getting an Epson, this looks like the one to me

Any idea how much the ink cartridges are to replace???

Cheers

The Stylus 2100 printer will arrive tomorrow,

I'm getting on with the Spyder (Colorvison) in the States, I think I can get the basic kit for you around $190.00 land in Sydney.

I'll order this:

I have looked into these before... Apparently they work very well... I woudl love to get one but there is just way to many things to buy :)

I think I need to get the SB-800 flash before anything else.

The R310 is an excellent printer as well, I saw my clients use it to print CD labels direct on the CD, can't tell.

The Epson Stylus 2100 will be used for our members, who's going to come at the meet and doing some of their photos on the spot after PP, part from that the Spyder kit will show them to calibrate both monitor and printer, perhaps a scanner. Have fun in your hobby.

Epson R800

Postby sheepie on Mon Sep 27, 2004 7:27 pm

Hi all - I have the Epson R800, which works really well. Ink seems to last a while, which is just as well (there's 8 cartridges on this baby!).

High quality, glossy pics are it's specialty. :) :)

It's the one top of the line of Epson R series but only restricted to A4.
Apart from that, No complaint so far, genuine Epson ink cartridge is around $15.50/ cartridge x 8.

Any updates on the Epson 2100 Birddog?

I am considering a R800, almost identical with 8 colour ink system, just lacks the A3 which obviously you pay big dollars for and would be nice to have but i just can't justify it.
