Anyone for mussels?

Havelock, a little town on the Nelson-Blenheim road near the top of the NZ south island, is famous as the "green mussel capital of the world." I love seafood but not green sea mussels. They taste a bit like dirt, not that I've eaten dirt since I was about 3 years old. Passed this moored boat last Sunday afternoon and had to stop and photograph it. Added some sepia/grain in post.

Actually there's not much else to do in Havelock apart from being peaceful. :biglaugh:

I suppose that you could put the pieces back together?

And then smoke the peace pipe?

(I know, you're now going to tell me to peace off)

:P

But surely you'd want whorled peas?
