I mentioned early this year that I have acquired a drone (Mavic Pro). After about 6 months of procrastination, I have finally managed to edit and upload a short (5 min) video of our trip. I'm not sure if it belongs in this section, but here she be anyway:

Thanks Tony. The still quality is even better than the video.

Drones are super cool. Annoying at times, but super cool.

I hate drones, but they are so very cool - this is great Ozi, you have done really well with this, rather professional if i do say so :)

Thanks Gerry. I have toyed with the idea of trading/swapping the Mavic Pro for the Mavic Air as the video is even better and it's half the size of the pro. However, if you thought the Mavic Pro was annoying, the Air sounds like a massive swarm of angry bees, intent on driving everyone within a hundred metres stark raving bonkers.

Evidently the Mavic 2 Pro is much quieter. And much more expensive...

A couple of years ago I was at a media event for the release of some new hard drives, and they were using drones with WiFi capabilities to demonstrate the remote access facilities featured in the drives. These drones did sound a lot like a swarm of angry bees. To the point where a swarm of angry bees actually attacked the drones, and brought a couple of them down.

It does happen. When flying the drone I'm always on the lookout for birds of prey and other assorted critters that are harmful to drones. And of course aeroplanes and choppers. Legally I have to immediately bring the drone back if I spot an aircraft in the vicinity.
