BYW, Wollies has magnificent peaches this week $3-$4 kilo. Worth a look if you like Aussie peaches. Which I do.

Thank you both.We had the Peach Melba to celebrate Australia Day. You may already know, but this dessert was invented for and named after Dame Nellie Melba, the Australian soprano, at the Savoy Hotel (London) by the French chef Auguste Escoffier.
Yes, Ozi, I've been enjoying the stone fruit this season. We go to the markets and can get fruit much cheaper than Coles, Woolworth or Aldi. :up:

Definitely agree with the markets in preference to the supermarkets. Unfortunately Coffs is not the best place for local stone fruit, but superb for bananas and especially now blueberries. We have a freezer full of organic-pick-your-own-non-sprayed BB at $10kg. Happy days indeed.
