Ted's printing - Camberwell, vic

Picked up some errors today, bloody terrible!

I had 5 pics, matched to size, of baby for a client (they get 5 pics of each child, at 8 months old framed, and mount them in the hall, side by side).

Sized to 100mm square, to match the other prints on their wall.. Went to Ted's only because it was around the corner from work, and these very time sensitive prints. all the more frustrating to find out, that even after insisting on no changes, they zoomed, croped, and messed up the whole order.

I'm not talking about a few % difference. he tries to explain to me that its not millimeter precise... but these were 15% OUT, and cropped!

thanks ddd... d-heads.

now I'll just go back to old faithful, where staff understand printing needs.

frustrated, but must admit, had little faith when I went there to start with...

Had a similar problem with Teds.
I use Kodak and find they do what I ask.
Always happy with the quality of their prints.

I find Teds prints are lifeless in comparison.

Bruce, have a look here - http://www.digitalworks.net.au/owners/Index.htm

Order by noon, you will have the photos next work day by express post, and their work is good.
And have a look at the way they do canvass prints - not by inkjet!

Notwithstanding your low expectations :) it still amazes me that they could cock it up
so comprehensively. How hard is it to follow instructions? Unbelievable. I would be writing a letter.
(But then, I love writing letters - I think I channel my Uncle Fred who made a life's work out
of not letting bad service or performance go unremarked.)
