Card printing

Postby Reschsmooth on Sun Apr 20, 2008 2:11 pm

Guys, quick question: who would you recommend for the production of cards, including our own photo on the front and custom text inside? We need to produce about 15-20 or so. We have looked at Redbubble who would produce cards without text inside. Have also looked at Vista Print, but thought others here may have information?

Many thanks
Regards, Patrick

Patrick,

I think that TonyH who does the special price for business cards also does cards. I seem to remember he also does cards, shoot him a PM. We know he does a great job on the business cards side of things.

Patrick,

I'm guessing you don't have a printer. It would be quite reasonable to do 15-20 on a desktop colour printer like the Epson range. I have printed my own cards in the past and they come up quite well.

Andrew, we do have the R1800, but were just considering more expeditious options with respect to preparation. Having prepared cards, etc at home, I know it isn't too hard, but is just time consuming. It is an option we are also considering.

Another vote for TonyH here. Great service, quality and value.

Though I'm not sure if he makes low quantity prints.

You are missing your vocation as a political speech writer!

I take it you mean you were thinking it might be easier to get somebody else to print them?

Close, I was suggesting it may be faster to have someone else print them for us. :D

Besides, I thought my comment was sufficiently unambiguous.

If I was to write for a politician, I would say something along the lines of: "we are pursuing options which will not mitigate the expediency with which we wish to achieve a suitable outcome for this particular working family, nor throw the fair go out the back door". :D
