Picture Of The Year 2006

All of the past years's Pictures Of The Week are now in one place... our Picture Of The Year gallery!

Challenge #12 - Stella By Streetlight

Is well under way.

If you are having trouble understanding the concept, it's really very very easy. Go outside, into the street, and stand under the nearest streetlight.

Look up.

:)

Full details can be found here

I currently have three prizes all lined up for this, and I'm waiting on confirmation of a couple more.

The winners will be announced at our ...

Sydney Christmas Dinner

November 25, In Restaurant, Neutral Bay.

We're getting close to fully booked. I think I have about ten spots left, so you better hurry.

We have some great things planned for the evening, including, hopefully, some element of participation by Poon. I'm not yet sure of how this will manifest itself, but the wheels are most certainly in motion. We have the restaurant to ourselves, but it's a fairly smallish place, bookings are limited, and, as I've noted above, with only about ten places left, if you don't hurry up, you're going to be sorry.

Booking form is here.

Server Changes

I've been doing some tinkering under the hood this morning, so if you see anything unusual, please be sure to send me an email or a PM, detailing exactly what it is that you're seeing (or perhaps not seeing) so that I can fix the problem I'll have caused.

What a spectacular collection of images. Just shows the standard is high and the bar keeps creeping up. Well done all!

49 brilliant images and all worthy of winning the ultimate prize. It's going to be difficult to pick 5 and even harder to put them in order.

Good luck to everyone selected over the year.

Chris,

MHD wrote:*registration is required ( And is only open to Members (see FAQ)) to enter and vote in the challenge, users can register by PMing me the following information
-Username
-Primary camera body
-preferred name
-email address (required! used to change password etc)

Send Scott, ie MHD, a PM with the info above and he'll get it organised.

Once you get this, you will also be able to submit photos in the challenge, so get one ASAP, still time to submit a photo in Challenge 12 and vote.

Cheers,

André
