Hurry, Hurry, Hurry

Christmas is coming

And we have, for this year, not one, but two Christmas dinners organised for your enjoyment. Both on December 8, and each promises some great fun for those members attending.

If you're in Melbourne, you need to visit this thread. This promises to be a great evening.

If you're in Sydney though, then our dinner is at the Rockefeller Bar & Grilland you can book here. We still have room for a few more people, but please, book now to avoid being put onto our waiting list.

White on White

The final challenge for the yearis in full swing. The topic provides great scope for creativity, and we already have a number of entries submitted. Is yours amongst them?

Maximum size is 2000 pixels on the longest side.

Winners will be announced at the Sydney Christmas dinner.

Sydney Bindimeet

Whatcha doin' this Sunday, November 25?

Join us for a shoot and to catch up with Brissie member Bindi. We're meeting at Cockle Bay, under the eastern end of the Pyrmont Bridge, at about 1pm. Probably having munchies at Chinatown late afternoon, there's a Sydney Blues Society jam at the Botany View Hotel in Newtown at 6, so those of you with D300s in hand can go and test the high ISO capabilities of your new toys.

And if you're that way inclined, the Sydney Christmas Parade will be <strike>getting in the way</strike> on before we meet, occupying George St, to provide a whole different range of photo ops for your edification.

I didn't know Gary was open!

(Sorry. It is often interesting and amusing how the absence of a comma can affect the context of a statement, question or phrase).
