Picture Of The Week - March 7, 2006

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Picture Of The Week - March 7, 2006

Postby Nnnnsic on Tue Mar 07, 2006 11:34 am

Crikey, it is hard to choose a picture of the week.

A lot of competition this week from my point of view and I'm giving it to Slider, but not for one of his cool froggy pictures, which was what I was going to do in the first place.

No, I'm giving him it for this really cool and slightly surreal landscape of a field.

Image

I think it's a really cool image with the colours and the composition just working for me.

It comes from this series here.

Coincidentally, I almost gave it to the first image in this series here... of the frog on the leaf which I thought was fantastic too.

Great work Slider!

Woo Hoo :D :D :D

Thanks for all the great comments folks. Am I happy or what. Sorry I took so long to respond but I only just spotted it.

I am particularly pleased as there was very little PP, just a minor tweak to the exposure. :D
