POTW 21 Jun 2011

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. POTW 21 Jun 2011

Postby stubbsy on Tue Jun 21, 2011 4:06 pm

This weeks POTW is from an excellent group of images posted by dervish16 (original post is HERE). This is a strong set of shots and while I like the first image in the group, this third one is a bit more interesting for me. It's nicely exposed and has a nice eery moodiness to it. Best of all it's NOT an HDR - Chris did this one old school - congrats.

Thank you everyone. It's always a great feeling getting picture of the week.

I got two images from Bombo Quarry this morning that I will post now and will be going to Blue Mountains tomorrow for a week. Gone there multiple times but any good spots people recommend I mightn't have gone to?

Ask Cameron, as he is an expert on the mountains.

I didn't end up having time. Just got back today. Found some amazing spots and got some great images and had great weather and now I have 35gb of images to go through haha. Thank you anyway.
