Who doesn't love an old leather chair? Or sofa?

Or a sleeping dog?

Combine the two, as Geoff M has done here, and you have an image that's difficult to top, IMHO.

Image

This image is a simple as it gets, but with rich colours and a well paired couple of timeless, well worn subjects.

Original thread is here.

Good shot.

I would prefer though to let sleeping dog(s) lie. :)

Lovely shot and a deserved PotW.

Incidentally Geoff, my parents spent their honeymoon at St Bernard's way back in 1948.

Thanks, that was unexpected.

Trevor, I don't think St Bernards has changed much since 1948!

It's best to let sleeping dogs lie with enough rope.

Lovely picture, sofa and dog. Good choice, Gary.

I keep coming back to this photograph. I guess
what attracts me are the warm colours and
the sense of peacefulness. I guess in this state
the subject is an angel of the canine variety.
Ye, I think I like it quite a lot!
