I walked past today and saw that many of the blooms are allready up. I think it will be good during the early parts this year following the early sprung of spring.

Thanks for the heads up Steve - Bel and I are hoping to get down there again this year. We haven't been for a few years.

Geoff, when are you planning on going down? We are going to Canberra on what appears to be the last weekend of Floriade (14/15 Oct) as I have a conference there on the Thurs/Fri.

Not meaning to disaude people from going at the same time as Reschsmooth but leaving until the last week is probably not the best idea... Due to the warm August and absolutely brilliant september we are having my money would be on floriade peaking early this year... So I recon either the weekend of the 30/1 or 23/24

I would tend to agree and the only reason I will be there at the end is due to another commitment I have that week.

So, if you can only make it on the last weekend (14/15th) a mini-meet can be arranged.

Maybe we should start thinking a mini-meet?

I'd be up for a photo meet for Floriade. I'd even come all the way from Newcastle to Canberra just for the chance to meet up with you guys  and the flowers would be a bonus

Im not sure if I can end up in Canberra during those time this year, last year was a great day out there at Floriade for shooting, just too good without enough skills on flowers. :P

So come on all you Canberra people - I'd love to spend some time and catch up with you guys. Last time I was at Floriade was 25 years or so ago.

I'll go set up a new thread
