28-70mm f2.8

Postby V-man on Tue May 19, 2009 8:37 pm

I,ve never had a play of a Nikkor AF-S 28-70mm F2.8 but one has come up to buy for around $1100. At the moment i have a D200 but I wish to buy FX lenses for the very near future. Is it still a good choice or should i keep saving for the Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8G?
D200 etc

On a DX not that much, but on FX it is a fair bit wider, just like the 16-85 is that much wider than the 18-200 to allow it to have a overall larger difference in FOV

That is a super price, buy it you can always recoup those dollars later on.
