First photos with the F2AS

With everyone getting new bodies, I think that separate section for you to proudly display your first image from your new acquisition is in order.

This applies to brand new bodies, as well as bodies that are simply newly acquired by you.

First photos with the F2AS

Postby Reschsmooth on Sun Jul 22, 2012 4:08 pm

I took the F2AS with me to a meeting in the city on Thursday night. Shot Tri-X at 400 but had to add 1 stop of development.

The scanning is still a problem - handheld with the D200 using an AI'd 55mm macro lens.

Very happy with the result viz metering with the camera.

Incidentally, picked up a waist level finder for the F3 for $40 at the camera markets today at Ultimo.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935.
