Interesting idea. If only I could make a D2Xs out of paper too...

You could use these as a template for some sort of advertising/labelling for your lens hood.

thanks for the link, very smart. think of it as disposable hood, come and think of it, if will work even better if you can cut it out in a hard/plastic board.

The only HS-12 Lens Hood I can find is over at B&H and ironically the last time I purchased something from them I forgot to put the HS-12 into my cart!

there available in a few places, but B&H have the cheapest price. unfortunately i can't justify the $33 shipping for a $26 item
i unfortunately lost an ebay auction on one last week, and have been on the look out since. the rubber HR-2 hood is also recommended, but i want a rigid one...
