Sorry off topic ..... It might interest a few people though

With the car division doing so badly.....The optical division has to "chip" with some cash I guess. Though I think Nikon value to the group overall is petty cash :D PS.. Nikon belongs to "Family of Mitsubshi Group of Companies" taht is how they say not me.

Nikon is only one of the few (I think about ten) that has a name not associated with Mitsubishi

Car, Bank, Insurance, Oil, minerals, Electronics,.....Name it and they are in it.....

I think it is the world largest Conglomerate by a long short.....

They better release a few top models if they want to sell them :wink: I only see one model at the top, the D2X. D70 sells well but is entry level. Love the spin doctors
