Hi all,

I found this interesting thread on dpreview.com
It gives some examples of how manual spot metering can be used to control exposure.

With the variability of the I actually switched to matrix metering (I'm normally on spot), the only changes being when the fly-bys were on, I would switch exposure compensation to +1.

Give the nature and speed of the cars, spot really isn't the best mode for F1 racing IMHO.

I was using a patch of grass as my subject to meter :)
