POTW 6th May 2014Hey hey folks, its that time of the week again for another fun filled quality POTW brought to you by yours truly
This weeks selection of images had me tossing up between the Matt-man and the MrDarcy-man who has recently graced us with his prestigious self again (which I am very glad of, welcome back to the fold..one of us..one of us... ) I really liked MattK's last image from this thread, viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44347 Westend, it has a great feel to it and the vertical composition strikes a chord with me. Ozimax's image of his grand-son, the first in this thread viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44341 was also a contender - the classic framing of the little feet is always a great way to bring those have-been parents back to the moment and those with similar aged kids to sign a sense of commonality But, there can one be one winner and its Gregs recent shot from his new hide, aka bed room, which has it all, a bug, a bird and beautiful bokeh (which i would have darkened if it was mine ) Well done greg, great shot. Gotcha by gregdarcy, on Flickr full thread here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44345 gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: POTW 6th May 2014Great shot Greg and well chosen Gerry.
The only way I could get a shot like this is to nail the buggers feet to the branch so I am truly impressed as there are no nails in view. Chris

Great choice, great shot. Is this image the first national winner of the BBBB award for alliteration in photography? :)
Re: POTW 6th May 2014Well done Greg, good choice.
Re: POTW 6th May 2014
yes and given its your choice tomorrow, I expect the second winner to the BBBB award gerry's photography journey

Re: POTW 6th May 2014Congratulations and well picked
Re: POTW 6th May 2014Thank you all.
I recommend the hide. Excellent for birding of all kinds. And yes I tried a darker Bokeh. Lost the bird.
Re: POTW 6th May 2014Is birding a euphemism for flighty dogging?
