Hi folks,

Next round of the V8 Circus is at Oran Park, on the 17 - 19 August. That in itself will be fun, but the AUS Superbike Circus will also be at Eastern Creek the same weekend. So, with a little travelling backwards and forwards, there will be MUCHOS motorsport.

My question is, "who's going?"

I will be, hopefully with media accred for both.

Hi mate, I got an email from Brian saying was coming across. Bloody long drive! Wonder if he'll drive straight home after the race.....

I should hear back soon about my media accred. V8 Supercars media people are away following Ipswich.

I reckon I can sneak the OP meet no problems, never been to a V8 round before so it will be good to pop my cherry!

I'm giving that whole weekend a miss i think, need a break.. cant handle 4 weekends in a row shooting away from the mrs.. she already wants my nads in a jar

I really wish i had the money to travel to this. Still saving for my 300 prime and hopefully a pro body to couple it too!

Okay my latest update is that I can only make the OP meet on the Friday and I'll be at EC on the Sunday.
Does anyone know if you can drive around the outside of the track on the Sunday so I dont have to lug an eski or my equipment?

Paul, you *should* be able to drive from turn 2 right around the back of the track to the start-finish. Not sure about driving from turn 2 around to turn 1, sometimes it's open sometimes not.

I'm still deciding where to be on both days, depends on what wifey wants to go and see on Saturday.

I just confirmed with EC that if you enter through Gate 7 we can access the turn 2 corner from there.
