So the land there are free If it's the case! we might have to move upthere and setting up a HQ.

It looks to me, there's no life in those aren't they? I know people who live there mostly are miners or work in the mine, so could be tough with the living condition like I 've seen thru your pics.
I've been up to McKay before once I had some works with the Company called David Brown Gears Industries, they made all sources of gear boxes for the mining industries and I've seen some similar town like this but still wondering how could people living in comfy inside those houses?

I worked in Mt Isa for a couple of years back in the early 70s. It's an interesting part of the world, and great photo opportunities.
I bought my first SLR & zoom lens while I was there, having only used a rangefinder camera before.

Trevor, some might say that it's still the 70's in Mt Isa.

It's a hard hot tough land out there.

Men are men, women look like men and dogs run scared.

I remember why i moved to the big smoke now.
