Around AdelaideHi All, well while i was up Adelaide way for the D70-SA meet, i did a few pics around the place while on my tavels. Enjoy.

Yes Thai, i had a polariser on as it was a bit bright along the edges but i seemed to have liked the affect that it made and keeping the main centre of attraction on the boats and building behind. It was very sunny as you can see and i liked the dark look it gave, i just stuffed around with the filter, a couple of shot that i haven't posted yet i used my hand like lens hood. These wre all done with the kit lens with a polariser.

John - without sounding patronising your shots continue to amaze me - in the past 5 months they have grown so much in quality. Keep it up as I look forward to your contributions. Chris -------------------------------- I started my life with nothing and I’ve still got most of it left
Thankyou Chris, I am trying different things from time to time and yes it is good to go somewhere different to take pictures. I like Glenelg as it is a very pretty place but being spoiled by developers buildy high apartment buildings and so on and i think The Bay will loose some of it's shine as to speak. Almost picture postcard type of place and well it is different than shooting motorbikes zooming past like im about to do for the 3 days.
Thanks John Oh i must clone that flag pole out in the light house pic at the port river. LOL forgot to do it. D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X 80-400VR,SB800,Vosonic X Drive,VP6210 40 http://www.oz-images.com
Here is a couple more from my trip.

 1. I think the architectural similarity of these shots is worth a mention... 2. Is that girl really toplessly walking across the golf course??? Hi leek, mate that girl has a pink top on.LOL but yeh no problems if she falls over, the face will stay intact, just to the left of that was a place called Magic Mountain and was the main reason to visit Glenelg as it was a fun place with water slide and so on for kids, hell i remember when i was younger going there. But now it has been torn down to make way for apartments along the well known beach front. That is like a park where she is walking they often have shows on there of sorts, hell they have ruined the beach front dont know why they dont build there as well , but give it time.
 The other building is from port Adelaide across from the warfs, thought it looked nice. Cheers John D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X 80-400VR,SB800,Vosonic X Drive,VP6210 40 http://www.oz-images.com

The quality of these shots, as has already been said, shows you can take excellent shots even when there's no bike in sight I think the Uni Bridge & Torrens shots are magic. Peter Disclaimer: I know nothing about anything. *** smugmug galleries: http://www.stubbsy.smugmug.com ***
