The Sydney Opera House is one of those over photographed landmarks from the outside, yet inside shots are much less common. Here's my attempt at adding some balance

As usual your critique is encouraged.

Really like the last one Peter - nice I'd actually like to see a series of it with different treatments too - maybe one of them you could selectively colour YOUR building

Seriously, a different outlook on the subject and nicely executed. Perhaps the Opera House part of the last one is a little blown out, and so you don't get the location quite so well, but I'm sure you already tried a few different options.
These parts of the interior scream out for the B&W treatment you've given.

Did you get any with timber in them? I know the timber there in parts nicely offsets the drub grey of the concrete - would like to see your take on some of those areas.

I like the first three best, but that last one is growing on me.
The lines and the black and white make very popwerful elements.
As above, I think the last one gives the impression of being
blown out. Perhaps is the effect you wanted.

Yep - it's had a solarised treatment. Here's an alternate PP I did in plain vanilla B & W:

Some lovely shots there. That last one with the timber/concrete is just gorgous The inside is just as photogenic as the outside with a whole host of textures and contrasts to please the camera, something which you have nicely captured.

Back in 2007 I went up to the SOH for a musical festival with an orchestra for a couple of days - but I was the photographer. Wondering around the Concert Hall with camera in hand during rehearsals snapping away was an experience I don't think I will ever get to repeat.

We had an organist with us and after the concert he lamented that he should have taken me up to the organists position for the views and for a few shots. (The trip to get there is apparently quite "fun".) For those that don't know where the organist sits, its above the stage about four or five stories up amongst the pipes...

Peter...those were AWESOME. A very different look for something so photographed!

Peter the color timber metal combination is an absolute cracker!!

The solarisation is well suited to the last.

You have a great eye for cityscape shots.

You've certainly nailed the first of these. And your use of high contrast to help emphasise the lines is just brilliant.

The others are good too, but for me, the first is outstanding.

I Like these last two very much. The colour does it for me and
I also prefer the B&W to the solarised.

How about this?

that colour version is da sh$t - the contrast between the concrete and wood is very very nice.

I really like this image because it looks like a reflection off the glass, I think even pushing that contrast just a bit more would work also - I also prefer the standard BW over the solarisation

I really like this set Peter. Nice use of textures in the architecture.
