Howdy, just recovering from spending five days roaming the airfield with the media scrum at Avalon in Victoria Aust, and i am buggered !!!
how on earth am i going to edit the 4000 plus images i took, this is madness, i need help, anyway i learn't a lot about digital photography
and in short it so flexible for this type of shooting, for example variable iso, boy is this handy in the changing Melbourne weather, also being able to edit after exposure is a great feature for when (as i do ) you cut off a wing or other important piece of the subject when in flight,if anyone is interested i will post more as i slowly edit the mountain, and i also now know why portable storage tanks were invented, in regards to the above image it was taken with a Nikon D2h @ 1/1000, iso 200, and @5fps,
with Sigma 50-500 lens, it was raining a kind of mist at the time,
 Ahhhhhh MelbourneNikon boy Norman

Stubbsy, have you seen the speed of the D2H though?
I took 1000+ shots at the F1GP and that's 3fps that stalls after 3rd-4th shot. The D2H is about 5-8fps with no stalling.

Yes, stubbsy tried on my D2h and he'll soon try on my D2x, D2x beats D2h far distance Birddog114

 Hey Nikon Boy,
Those heat waves really say thunder to me. Those F111's are freak'n loud!
Did you happen to take any shots of the turbine mod els (radio controlled) in the morning. I think they started around 9:00. One of them crashed ($20,000 worth of plane) and I'm looking for a shot of the aftermath!
 Thanks,
 Andrew.
