The first grapes of vintage going into the crusher, shot available light, D70 set to raw and auto white ballance. For the wine buffs the grapes are Semillon which were hand picked and on there way to be made into VAT 1 Semillon.

Great pics MHD, i actually took some on the way to the SA meet last weekend as well,although i am not a drinker but my years Coach driving seen me at these wineries many times doing tours, these few pics are from Wynns in the Famous Coonawarra Vineyards just up the road here from where i live.

I think wine is only good for one thing, as i used to be a ass chef many years ago i would use it in cooking. lOL I love MHD's shots, shows the guts of the grape in progress and the motion blur was ok as well.

Big Pix. Image is great - lighting works a treat and the motion blur enhances the shot tremendously, but I had to post just to ask...

Vat 1 Semillon as in Tyrrell's - the best semillon in the Hunter, or is there some imposter up there in Queensland?

The lighting of the area are big flood lights, the motion blur is as it happened no photoshop help, but the action of the grapes going into the crusher was controled with the help of a good forklift driver working under instruction, and yes it is Tyrrells Vat 1 Semillon.

The grapes look so juicy and vibrant in colour - makes me want to go out and buy some (pre crushing that is). Liking all the shots

All of the pics look great but Scott I have to admit that your pic has a wonderful colour array and the dark through light on this pic works extremely well - good enough for advertising
