				Now, that is a flower. Or at least, a photo of a flower.
Beautiful rich colours, great detail and sharpness.

 Also love the green and yellow which complement each other. Not a fan of the bad petal in the bottom though which slighlt affects and weakens your composition.

				It is very nice and the colours are nice and rich. I'd be interested to know how you got so much texture in the petals - it's quite a striking look.

				The photo was taken in JPG format for it is the only
format avialable in the Canon PowerShot SX30 IS. I
opened the image using Adobe RAW and I played with
the shadows and copied the image to Photoshop. In
this program, I adjusted the tone, contrast and colour.
Then I made a copy of the image using layers, changed
it to monocrochrome, and used the filter for Emboss.
Later I adjust the tranparency of the embossed layer.
I learned this technique in a photo mag because it was
better than using the sharpening filter.
