Tried to make use of the reflection...

Hi Adam,

#1 is nice but I reckon there's not quite enough silhouetting going on and perhaps if you cropped about 2/3'ds of the black at the bottom it would also make the shapes of the people stand out more.

I like the clouds and sky in #3 and it really pops but the land/beach just seems too dull. NB: the horizon seems to noticably curve and tilt to the right on this one too I think. Possibly the top half of #3 with the bottom half of #4 would have been very nice

I also upped the brightness a little to help the silhouettes stand out a bit more.

#2 especially suited for a brochure of the sorts..

This one i really like, it challenges the normal composition rules (for a seascape) and simply just works in my books. That said the placement of the sun and the clouds within the frame really make it a strong image.

Dialling down your watermark may also help, i feel it draws the eye too much.

I think I did a better job with the HDR on these. It darkens a little around some of the clouds, but I don't think it looks out of place.

Hey Adam, Did you HDR #2? I wouldn't have thought it would be necessary?

2, 3 and 4 are HDR. In saying that though they're done on quite a low tone compression.
I'll post the 0EV shot of #2 tomorrow afternoon for you to look at.

You're quite possibly right. I just liked the look I got from it.

I like the 2nd image for it's simplicity and mellow mood created by the cloud form. I'd perhaps crop a little off the top.

2nd and last are the best in my book.
I love the colours and crispiness of the
images.
