I took it in in India last year from the bus we were travelling in. That very
morning I discovered I had taken the wrong charger for the SLR and I had to
use my point and shoot stand-by camera - not a happy puppy...

A pity about the slr, it looks like great subject matter.

Thanks your comment, Norwest. I agree with you and I was very
angry with myself, but then again photography is not only
about the equipment we use, but about the subject and how
we capture that moment with what we have and our skills.

Grr I am still waiting for a wireless charger standard to come along...would solve alot of hassles.

hahah sustainable farming eh? i reckon that could be debated, anyways, not a bad snap with teh P&S, i would have rathered a 6*4 ratio to get a bit more room on the camel..

Lovely stuff. When it comes to travelling, sometimes it really doesn't matter what gear you have. Use what you have at hand and soak up the experience

Hi Zafra - interesting places you visit - I'd also like to have seen some more room on the right or taken the shot from 20m (or however much) to the right so the camel and driver are angled more towards the bottom right corner rather than away.

I'm not sure why wireless charging isn't a reality too - my shaver and toothbrush have it (induction presumably) and you can get those pads for charging phones and things.

Much better in the processing dept. No obvious pixelation/sharpening artifact.
