grabbed a few nice eye contact photos of the big guys aswell. geez they are stunning animals. the dreaded wb issues in this enclosure drove me stark raving mad.

Nice Kitty Chris - #2 and 3 for me I think. I can see what you mean by WB - at first I felt like the images were too green but in looking at them longer I'm fearful trying to adjust that would result in other colour weirdness.

#2 says, " You look finger lickin good".

rodney. these are adjusted to the best of my PP ability, which i admit is extremely limited. if anyone else can do it better they are welcome to try and give me some pointers.

all ive done is add a bit of magenta, red and blue.

#1 and #2 You have really done good work to get the model to put their hands at ease.....

#1 looks to be a most neutral interms of color.

Why would white balance be a problem? You just have to jump into the enclosure and take a reading.

But seriously Chris, while I agree that the thick green tinged glass is a slight annoyance I cannot fathom what you're complaining about. When I went there to see the cubs people were herded through in groups, like at the wake for a celebrity. I also forgot the Windex wipes…

You must have picked a very good time and got a whole heap of excellent shots. You should be happy

steffan, dont get me wrong i am happy with the shots and happy with the experience but you know 1st hand what we photographers are like..."if only the light was better, if only i didn't cut the tail off, if only the focus was sharper..." that's what we do. lol

and incidentally, i was at that enclosure for the best part of 3 hours and they were sleeping for 2 of them. is not like i rocked up and it was playtime ! lol

I wasn't allowed to stay for more than a couple of minutes, then the next batch of visitors rolled through.
