				I had this photo of the hand and I thought "what could you do with it?"
And this is what I came out with...

				To me it looks "wrong".
It took a little while to work out, but in the end, decided it reads as a reflection because of the different lighting, but the "mirror image" points do not line up. The two factors together add up to "wrong".
Perhaps increase the brightness of the reflected image so it reads as two hands, or take the trouble to line up the reflection vertically so it reads consistently as a reflection.

				Thanks for the comments. Initially I didn't want the image to have an exact
mirroring effect, but I take your point. This second take of the first image
has the mirroring effect.

				I suggest side lighting the hand to reveal more of the texture, this light is a little too flat for this type of shot.

				I agree with side lighting however using two snooted lights. Also do a much closer and tighter crop so that the wrist is kept out of the image.
