love those tones in the sky, I would liek to see more of that at teh expense of a smaller portrail of the building.

The blown yellow in the second is a instant turn off for me - its obviously a difficult scene to expose for given teh high dynamic range, however possibly sacrificing some detail in the building for more colour in the sunset may have helped it in my mind.

I like the tree and half expected more of a pano style with extra on both side, nonetheless, a nice classic country landscape. I particulary like the straight on view to teh nest in the tree...nice one!

Agree about the sky. I had to isolate as to not include a shed and modern fence immediately to the left and right of frame.

#2 isn't really salvageable to a great extent but was worth having a go. That trip showed me the mistake of not taking remote flashes for shots such as this and next time i'll not leave home without them.

The tree is actually a ' Silvertonia Birdnestus Robusta' and native to the Broken Hill region. Honest!
