In preparation for the Forum Dinner and MattK's much anticipated long distance shooting, a little practice was in order

I think I can almost make out the rabbit or the American flag.

What the setup? 300 and 1.7? Isn't that 510?

The orange and blue of those two shots go very well together

Re that moon shot. If you get up onto a step ladder it will get you closer, hence, more fine detail in the shot. Also, a touch of fill flash wouldn't go astray.

Side fill to be precise, otherwise it will look too flat.

A couple of reflectors on Mars should do the trick....
