As promised, some images from our recent trip out to Bondi for Sculptures By the Sea. These were taken with my Nikon D60 + 16-85VR + Tokina 12-24 F/4. These have had minimal processing so any tips, comments are greatly appreciated.

#1 - give to Suren (sorry)
#2 - a pano crop maybe (chop top and esp the bottom to try and get rid of some of the large oof rock)
#3 - definite interest - that bright spot on the rock is a bit distracting though - you might be able to burn it down a bit in post?
#4 - nice sky colour but the foreground needs some light

Hmmm under house arrest I guess....with his net access cut off....If we don't hear from him during this coming week we may just have to send out a search party.

#1 - I like despite the water being a little too cyan on my monitor. I'd lighten the rocks top left perhaps
#2 - great (bothered by that large OOF bottom so I agree with the comment re a pano crop
#3 - prefect as is
#4 - Sorry Cameron the others I like, but this is just way too dark

#1 nice BG but its missing a key feature, thus the option of handing to Suren is probably justified

#2 crop to pano with the horizon in teh middle, this image works well in my mind.

#3 nice but typical sculptures shot.

#4 This has teh most potential imo. It needs some processing love. the other option is longer exposure to add interest to teh water, eitehr way this would be my pick from the bunch after a small smack in teh back of the processing head.

well i was being polite and not singling out anyone, but now that ya mention it .. me no smell (even if i did ya would not smell it cause your too far down to catch a whiff ) ..so that leaves you two clowns

#1 You are too far from the action Cam. Not enough foreground.

#4 Agree about it with Gerry etc but will need a major overhaul as the light is quite flat here.

The second and third are the best from the lot.

I do like the composition of the second, even with the OOF foreground. It does create a line to the guy sitting by the rocks, which I presume would be the main subject. There's also a nice portrayal of calm and emptiness with the expanse of the sky and ocean.
