I shot these at the L.A. County Arboretum. They have about a dozen peacocks running around the place. Most of them are only a few feet inside the front gate! I had been there the week before and had focus problems ruin most of my peacock pictures, so I kind of went overboard to make sure that didn't happen to me again.
The first pic was taken with the 50mm f1.4 and SB800 fill,  1/250 @f13 ISO 500. 
By the second pic I was using the Kit lens at 70mm still at ISO 500 and no flash. 1/250 @ f/13.

				1st guy looks like one at the kids schoolh he is called Andrew. Susan his partner and 5 chicks dissappeared during the last school holidays.
