I think primates are fascinating and this is a great shot, clear eyes, nice and sharp...
Does make you wonder what he's thinking huh...

Great shot Kerry, crystal clear, sharp, pefect exposure, and a great expression.
As to what he is thinking, if it isn't about food, sex or shelter, then it is probably about the merits of Nikon v. Canon, how the chimpanzees and the orangutans prefer Nikon, but the gorillas and those guys with the big red arses prefer Canons.

Great shot. Sooooo crystal clear. I'd change only one thing, and that would be to clone out the blade of grass by his right ear.
Very well taken.

Beautiful Kerry. There is intelligence in those eyes. In fact, he looks smarter than some people i have met over the years.
The pose is so natural that whether your subject was Pans Gorrillus or Homo Sapiens doesn't matter, it would still be the perfect pose.

Yeah, he definitely looks like he's more intelligent than a number of my in-laws.......

Thanks, Stormygirl. I'm very pleased that you liked the photo.

Here's some more shots from the same bunch.
The first one reminds me of Mic, after a long night of Red and Inverting.
