Pyrmont Farmers Market - September 4

Postby gstark on Sun Aug 08, 2010 11:39 am

On the first Saturday of every month, there's a farmer's market at Pyrmont, in the park opposite Scar City.

Not sure what time it starts, but it finishes at around 11, so I'm thinking of a 9am start,

Farmers markets are great places to make images: people and fresh produce to photograph, and lots of great food to sample.

Sure, sounds good, could actually make it a useful trip and actually buy some food there. Pencil me in for confirmation closer to the date.

We go to the one at Blackheath most months. It starts at 08:00. I expect this one would be the same.
We try to get there about 07:50. That way we get the best produce & avoid the crowds.

Well if Matt K will be there then cant we expect Philo??

I will be there, possibly late depending on when I wake up. Had a tough week, been sick and still fighting the tail end of this mystery bug.

Nothing humorous unfortunately... :( I have Plantar Fasciitis which is an inflammation of the connective tissue in the arch of the foot... Very tricky to treat, and very painful, but the physio is making headway. At the moment, I can only walk less than 50m at a time, so I'm afraid I won't be able to make it today... Will hopefully make the next outing tho...
Cheers, John

Congrats for making this Cameron. The weather wasn't too friendly. Hope you had mobile numbers for the people who were going to turn up?
