Sigma 28-70 2.8 EX is for sale at centre.net.au at the moment for $253 inc GST. I have a feeling this may be a typo as it's $850 from photocontinental in Brisbane. If it is a typo you should still be able to get it for this price, it's happened in the past and they have honoured their mistakes.

yep its real ... i bought one about 2 months ago and its a great lens !!
the price has been stable for several months now.
this is a full frame lens with aspherical lens so it is top quality.
