Birddog, you are infecting me with your lens lust. Can I be innoculated against it?

Actually the 1:8 (which I already have) is not too bad against the 1:4. Thanks for bringing it to my attention (and making my lens lust worse)
 Glen,

I've been down that road for long! I bite my fingernails everytime I pull out my credit card, but wife and kids are happy to see smiling on my face and they come to the party at last. Birddog114

 Hi Guys

Whilst the 85mm was the best portrait lens on a 35mm camera, (remember film?), I think the 50mm is better on the D70. It virtually becomes an 75mm...very nice and very useful. The 85mm becomes about 120mm...nice for head shots but a bit long for full length people pics. Now what about that 180mm? Regards

I used my 70-200VR for some portrait in some events as well but need a quite good distance.

The 50/1.4 is also great but un comparison with the 85/1.4 (head shot/ upper half body) Birddog114

Those pics could be made to advertise anything, and whatever it is, sales of it would skyrocket!
