Beautiful place to live BBJ!! Nice shots .
If I was you, I'd take the shot of Aquifer Tours to them, and see if they want to use it (for a fee). Is a great shot.
And as for blue lake... sigh. I just want to come down, and sit in your lake Is it really that blue??????
congrats

Rel, yes it is really that blue the colour changes each year to this colour this time of year so yes it is very pretty, but you cant swim in there as this is our main supply of drinking water, and i too would love to get in it as well. Thanks.

John, you've photographed these scenes so beautifully. As you admit, the lighting is not ideal, but I love the composition of these photos. You live in a beautiful place, and you've captured that beauty. Thanks for sharing.

Good shots John. I really like the simplicity of the first one, with that bit of red roof to add something. All shots beautifully exposed and crisp.

Thanks All, Yes Birdy i think the kit lens is great for some like me who doesn't have anything smaller so i still love to pop it on now and then and go shoot some pics with it. I like the 18m end of the lens and with a sunny day and a cpl on makes colour more richer.
One day i might look into something like 12-24 but who knows.

No Glen, they just like to point at different things now and then. LOL Yes well i did a pano shot over part of the city but it looks small and not sure how to post it, was 15 shots hand held but over 30meg, but it's not too bad here.

The pano sounds interesting, would love to see it, but you better put a download warning for even broadband users if it is 30 mb

Thanks Marco, yes they would be good for that i guess but i am happy with them. It is a bit too warm to go out today, 29 at the moment but do have to go out and pick up some orders i have had printed so i can send off over the border to Victoria. Thanks for the feedback, it is a nice reflection of the town i think.
