Keeping the outside of the D70 clean..

Those nice to know things about your DSLR will be found here. How to do this, and why you probably should not do that.

Postby Geoff on Mon Sep 13, 2004 1:02 am

Hello all,
Just wondering how you guys keep the exterior of your D70's clean with all the nooks and crannies of the camera..mine needs a gentle clean and I thought here was the best place to ask about it. Thanks in advance,

Geoff.

A bulb brush meant for lenses.

with a damp cloth and few drops of Ajax All Purposes Cleaning, wipe the bodies and lenses (bodies) everytime I back to base after a shooting trip, remove all sweat, dirt, grease from your palm.
Lens and filters with blower brush and lens pen or lens tissue with a drop of solution.

I must be going dyslexic.

I saw the word AJAX and thought WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! i clean my bathroom with that stuff and sure, the 'brushed metal' look can be appealing but not on my D70. Then i re-read the AJAX bit and sighed a sigh of relief as it's not the variety i had in my immediate mental picture...

Whew!!! Panic attack over.
