What is PP??I see it everywhere. I am sure it has something to do with digital manipulation. But what exactly does PP stand for? I have figured it out yet.

The most common action is to adjust the levels which is akin to changing the development time for an under exposed shot. Other actions could be white ballance, sharpening etc.... New page

If you see it written in the context of Nikon PP software, then it's referring to Picture Project - that useless piece of software that came bundled with the camera. Nikon View is a much better (still free) alternative to Picture Project, available for download on Nikon support sites.
