Seeing as how there have been no major objections, let's set this in stone.

Or at least mud.

Sunday August 22, 9am at City Extra.

I'll set this up as a poll, so that we can also get numbers as to who'll be there.

Second vote Gary, that is two of us. If anyone has any objections ie parking or otherwise, feel free to voice them here in this post.

ps parking should be available at that time in the rocks or similar or plenty of loading zones in the city which are free 9am Sun.

City Extra

City Extra is opposite the ferry terminals at Circular Quay. It is at the western end (sort of) under the rail line/Cahill Expressway. It is a 24hr cafe. Underneath the Circular Quay railway station if you are coming by train from Chatswood.

Actually, I think it's about opposite jetty 3, (near and opposite the Manly ferries), which actually places it at the eastern end of the Quay, I think.

IAC, it's quite easy to find. Just wander along the waterfront at the Quay, passing the ferry terminals. It's difficult to miss.

I'm sorry. Can we talk you out of this insane decision? :)

Seriously, congratulations, and all the best for a long future together.

Postby Geoff on Sun Aug 22, 2004 1:44 pm

Hello all,
Just wanted to say a massive thanks for those that turned up to the meet at City Extra today..for those who couldn't/didn't make it..may I strongly suggest the next meet on Sept 4, although I doubt I can make it damn it! (work...grrr). Learnt a lot today, met some great people and enjoyed the great outdoors, generally at our back door. Will post images later tonight.

Looking forward to meeting all you guys but I don't think I will be able to make the next one either as that is Fathers Day...

Actually, the next meet will be on a Saturday afternoon, the day prior to Fathers' Day, unless I'm very much mistaken.

Saturday September 4, in any case.

I'll start a new thread for this in the next day or so.

Yep, your right...

Sunday is Fathers day (I should really know that!!!). Then maybe I will be able to make it (depending on the newborn.)
