Quotes of the day
I know that most men, including those at ease with problems of the greatest complexity, can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conlusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleages, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives. ~ Leo Tolstoy

Coffs was an early adaptor town for the NBN. I have been hooked up to said service for several years but alas and alack, when you spend 8-9 months of every year on the road, it’s a fairly useless expense. As of last week I have ditched nbn and gone wireless as I can take the data with me.

This morning I tested my iPad download speed as follows: 80mbps upload - 5mbps download. Is this a reasonable speed? I think my nbn was only 25/12.( Last weekend it was 95mbps upload.)

Just wondering how fast other people on the forum attain. Thanks in adv ...

Have been using my Metabones Adaptor with the a7R III for Canon EF glasses.
However, I notice that with both the 50/1.2L and 85/1.2L II, both lenses only open up to f1.3, and not f1.2.
I am curious as to why that may be? Is it Metabones problem? Canon's? It obviously does not matter to the images, but I am curious why that may be the case. Anyone?

The lens is fully open but aperture is 1.3 not 1.2.... Anybody has the same problem?

Is there anybody here who is using Sigma Art lenses on a Sony a7r III as native lens without adapter?

Is focusing fast and accurate? How about low light? All focusing modes (eye tracking, etc.) work on the Sony?
